YCDSB Schools Celebrate Milestone Anniversaries

YCDSB Schools Celebrate Milestone Anniversaries

The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) was excited to take a trip down memory lane, as four of its schools celebrated milestone anniversaries during Catholic Education Week. All these schools have long histories of providing excellent education, nurturing environments and faith-filled lessons that last a lifetime.

Catholic Education Week is a time when we acknowledge how publicly funded Catholic education benefits students and our communities as a whole. There is no better way to demonstrate the value of Catholic education than by reminiscing on our schools’ many successes.

We are happy to share below some photos from the milestone anniversaries of:

  • Corpus Christi CES in Richmond Hill, which celebrated its 25th anniversary
  • Blessed Trinity CES in Maple, which celebrated its 25th anniversary
  • Sir Richard W. Scott CES in Markham, which celebrated its 25th anniversary
  • Guardian Angels CES in Vaughan, which celebrated its 10th anniversary

Also, St. Peter CES in Woodbridge will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Friday, May 30, starting at 10:30 a.m.
